Hey, this is Sebastiaan from social-anxiety-solutions.com. I’m a former social anxiety disorder sufferer and I’m a Social Confidence Coach.

In today’s video, I found something funny related to social anxiety on the web. Now, I’m in the middle of a 30-day social confidence challenge and I’m all focused on that. I don’t want to focus on anything else, I just want to have a laugh.

So, when I was looking through the list of videos that I get to shoot, there was one that stood out that was kind of funny. It is a video online where there was a particular thread on Reddit, a website where people posted when their social anxiety got out of control, and they shared a story of what happened.

Today, I’m just going to share one that made me laugh. Here we go. This is by the username of the Im_Justinetyler. Here’s his story.

This one time I was approached by a high school girl trying to get my contact info. I’m only 22. So I mean, I guess I’m passable for just an older guy, but clearly you got to say no. So, me being a Reddit user said something stupid. I started to say, “Sorry, but I’m old enough to be your dad.” but that was dumb so I changed it mid-sentence to “Sorry, I’m old enough to be your brother” but that didn’t make any sense. So what really came out of my mouth was “Sorry, I’m old enough to be your… Brother…s… college roommate.” And then we both stood there in that amazing wtf feeling you get when you’re just overloaded wtf

Fantastic! If you have stories like that, post them underneath this video or send them to me. I like to laugh. This is a good one. I might share some of mine but I can’t think of anything top of mind, but I’m sure it’ll come to mind if I read more of yours. You can send that to social-anxiety-solutions.com/contact

As I said, I’m in the middle of the 30-Day Challenge. It is going amazing. People are making profound transformations. We are on day 20 or 21. I think we have 2200 comments and running. This is really, really great.

If you want to sign up for the next one, assuming there is going to be one which is looking like it, you can go to bit.ly/socialconfidencechallenge, that’s b-i-t-dot-l-y-/-socialconfidencechallenge

That’s it for this week. Nice and short. I’m keeping it under three minutes. Amazing. Have a great week. I’ll be connecting with you soon. Bye for now.
