When you don’t overcome this resistance, you cannot become anxiety-free. Ever.
She says “If you haven’t been able to overcome your problem you have a subconscious resistance to change. Consciously you want to change, but your subconscious (which is much bigger than your conscious mind) says: “We’re not changing because if I go out into a social situation, I’m gonna get hurt, remember what happened last time?!”
