Cathy Vartuli, who didn’t date for 13 years because she’s a 320 pound woman who was afraid to get rejected for her weight, shares her story of transformation in this interview. She did a session with an expert and two weeks later she was dating and has been on hundreds of dates since.
She says: “I had all the fears about how I looked. As I worked through it, I realised all of us have insecurities. And that was a big A-HA moment. I thought I was the only person in the world that felt awkward and out of place and everybody else was fine. Because I can’t see in other people’s heads, I had this belief that they had it all together and it was just me that’s messed up. When I started letting go of that enough to get closer to people I realised everybody feels awkward.”

“Say the things you don’t want to say, scare them away if you can in the beginning and then if they stay they’re a good fit and you’re going to have an easy time with it.
