Dr. Lake shares his views on energy psychology, how to build emotional resilience, how to create healthy boundaries, and when face to face therapy is necessary and the benefits of it.
He says: ”Other treatments, which I call outdated, typically are cognitive treatments working in the mind and most people think that’s where the problem lies, but I no longer believe that. I think the problem is not in your mind, I think the problem is in your feelings which is somewhere coded or logged or anchored in your body. Tapping techniques are actually body techniques. They are not true psychological techniques, although you can be very clever with them.
It is a brand-new day when you can actually reduce anxiety fear and hurt without even knowing what caused them because if your body is processing these feelings away from where they are stored. And once they are gone they are gone
It is life-changing, the results are very very compelling.

“This is the reason I actually entered the profession (psychotherapy), to be able to get these kind of results, and for many years I never could, I was amazed. And now that you can get these kind of results I’m equally amazed the most of the profession doesn’t want to know about it!
Even the best scientific advances have taken many many many years to take hold. I think in the future people are going to look back to this time and say we were right on the cusp of a whole new way of doing things”
