What if there is a technique that is based upon the same principles as acupuncture for anxiety, but actually gets faster and more consistent results than acupuncture?
And what if that technique does not involve any needles, but instead of using needles you tap with the tips of your fingers on certain meridian points where usually the needles are inserted?
And what if that technique works for everyone, once applied in the right way?
Let me introduce you to acupuncture for anxiety without needles:
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)
This silly looking, yet very powerful technique is, like acupuncture, also based upon the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The basic premise of EFT is that all negative emotions (anxiety, shame, embarrassment, guilt, fear, anger, frustration, worry, stress, panic, humiliation; ALL negative emotions!) are due to a disruption in the body’s energy system.
And that when you stimulate (tap, rub, touch) certain meridian points on the body while being focused on a specific problem, that stimulation of the meridians sends a signal to wherever that disruption is and it balances the energy that was disrupted.
And as a result of this, the negative emotion connected to the problem disappears.
I know, I know. I of course realize this might sound very “woowoo” and “out there”. But try it. Because once you actually try this EFT tapping while being focused in on some anxiety, you can feel shifts and changes happening inside of you within just minutes.
And then as you notice these almost instant improvements, you will notice for yourself whether or not you feel less anxious and more calm. Trying it out is the best way to get to know the technique, because while the EFT tapping looks quite out of the ordinary, the results speak for themselves.
Now if you’ve never hear of tapping yet I realize this sounds totally weird and probably too good to be true, but keep reading and I’ll show it to you on a video and have you experience it for yourself in just a moment.
It’s Easier Than Acupuncture For Anxiety
I had literally tried anything and everything I could get my hands on. And while I considered acupuncture for anxiety in social situations to be something quit “out there”, I was willing (or desperate) enough to try any of the alternative anxiety treatments out there.
I had already tried Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Porgramming), visualization, affirmations, hypnosis, journaling, facing my fears, gradual exposure and so on.
But nothing helped.
When I eventually saw a video on youtube where the guy demonstrating the technique said that it was the best anxiety treatment out there, and that it could cure anxiety forever, I was highly skeptical.
OK, I was convinced it was a flat out scam.
But, I was curious enough to do my research. Because if the claims were true, then that was the thing I had been looking for. Something to finally cure my social anxiety forever. And acupuncture for anxiety WITHOUT needles sounded a lot better to me than having to put needles in my body all the time, hoping it’d work.
I eventually found thousands of testimonials of people claiming EFT cured their long standing problem where nothing else had worked. Including anxiety problems as intense as PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder : one of the most sever anxiety disorders) and social anxiety disorder.
Well, that spoke to me. And so I started reading and studying it, and eventually I worked with a variety if EFT specialist to overcome my social phobia.
